The Powerful HP 1320 Compatible Toner
The highly rated HP LaserJet 1320 printer comes to its owner ready to deliver on all of the promise that Hewlett-Packard has built into it. This black-and-white laser model using HP LaserJet 1320 laser toner has been designed to deliver notable performance across most operating criteria. It is a particularly versatile printer that can run using most Windows or Mac operating platforms. That it also comes at a nice price is just icing on the cake.
Print speed with this HP printer comes in at a very nice 22 pages in a minute. Outside observers say it normally will chug along at about 17.5 pages in a minute, which is still a very nice rate when one considers what the printer will go for. From the time it's been tasked with the job until the time it can put out the first page is only 8 seconds, which is exceptional for a machine intended for a very small workgroup or office.
HP builds the 1320 in a very compact casing, which means it looks to have been specifically designed to sit right up next to a computer on just about any-sized desktop or in an area accessible to the whole workgroup. It has no built-in networking capability, but the option exists. The regular HP replacement toner 1320 is meant to be connected directly to a PC or Mac.
Probably the single most notable keyword for this HP printer is "versatility." It does deliver wireless capability with the addition of a certain option, though the regular 1320 is made to be connected to a PC or Mac or a network through a parallel port or a USB port, both of which this device comes equipped with. If going for the wireless version, one will be getting a very nice 802.11g-standard unit. Prices will be slightly higher though.
Anybody out looking for good quality printing in a printer of a certain low price will be pleased by what they find with this HP model. It has 1,200 dpi resolution capability, meaning it will deliver a high-quality product almost every time. Print product that emerges will be clean, crisp and sharp and the crispness and sharpness will remain even down to nearly 3-point font sizes.
It's not clear whether Hewlett-Packard intended this printer to be purely a personal model or a workhorse model for a small workgroup, but the 1320 does both well and also surprisingly includes duplex printing capability. Two-sided print isn't usually found from units at this price.
Memory comes in at 16 MB that can be upgraded to 44 MB, though it's usually not the case that it'll require an upgrade. The 1320 can operate using many different Mac or Windows operating systems, as well. There's an optional networking capability that can be included in an upgraded model for a price, so keep that in mind.
The competent and capable HP LaserJet 1320 printer also can store 500 sheets of paper within its included auto load input tray, as well as being able to print out product onto just about any standard media stock around. That it does all this for as little as $150 (some outlets charge as much as $400, though) is a pleasant fact. Given that it is durable (at 10,000 pages per month), it's fair to say that 1320 offers a lot of upside and almost no downside.
There's certainly no downside with the HP 1320 cartridges. That HP LaserJet printer toner cartridges is a solid performer is simply expected with a company such as Hewlett-Packard. Exceptional values can be found online when place compatible toners orders.
