As far as I’m concerned, if someone can get the job done and they show me they can get the job done, I’m not too concerned about “qualifications”. I want results. Step 1 - Spec it Out
Describe to me, in your own words, what you want to see when you look
at your website.
I ask questions to help clarify everything.
Step 2 - We Agree on Price
I take notes & give you a solid quote.
Flat fee.
You are able to make payments.
We define the project scope here.
Your website is everything you want it to be…but only in your head right now.
Step 3 - Design
I work on a “design comp” for you based off our conversation.
A design “comp” is basically just a picture of what your site will look like.
Then, I send it over to you for approval.
You can say things like:
- “I like that.”
- “I don’t like that.”
- “I need different colors here.”
- “I need a different type of feel here.”
- “This section doesn’t stand out enough. Fix it.”
Step 4 - Design Revisions
I make revisions based off the stuff in that last slide. I’m cool like that.
Wash. Rinse. Repeat…until we come up with something you like.
(We usually come really, really close on our first draft in case you were wondering.)
Step 5 - Design Approved
You find the process easy & then decide you like what I’ve come up with.
Step 6 - Development & Coding
My team does the coding. It’s hard work but we do it right.
I make sure it covers all of these things:
- Is completely optimized for search engine spiders
- Has an easy to use password protected back-end so you can manage your text 24/7
- Is completely owned by you & under your full control (hey. you know your business better than I do)
Step 7 - Ownership to You
We turn the whole site over to you after collecting final payment.
You love seeing it come to fruition.
It’s your baby.
Your money making baby.
Step 8 - You Are A Hero
You sleep well at night knowing you got a great deal on an awesome website.
You co-workers think you’re cool.
You boss, if you even have one, treats you like a champ.
Everything is A-OK.
